In the 9-R District Community Message that was shared on Friday, a survey link was shared to get your feedback on different learning models for next year. If restrictions prevent us from having full classrooms at the start of next year, we may need to consider returning to school in a blended model. This would mean students would come to school two days per week, and continue their learning at home the other three days. If this model is needed, we would work to make sure families are on the same schedule. For families who would prefer to stay fully online, 9-R will offer a more robust remote learning plan. This will require a continued partnership with you, as we are committed to supporting you with a teacher’s guidance and support.
We need your feedback to help us plan for next year and the possibility of reopening with continued restrictions. We continue to focus our efforts on how we can support students next year. Please take this survey by tomorrow, Tuesday, June 2nd. If you are unable to complete the survey, a member of the Needham team will be reaching out by phone to connect with you this week.
Please know that when the state, and local health officials, declare it to be safe, we are committed to returning to regular, in-person learning. However, based on current CDC guidelines, we are trying to prepare for the very real possibility of restrictions. This is why your feedback is vital to us for the purpose of planning next year’s model.
Please drop off borrowed laptops to the Needham Office this week. We will be open from 8am-3pm daily. You can ring the front buzzer and a member of the office team will come out to pick-up the device. Remember to bring the charger as well!
Library & Classroom Book Return
Please drop off all school books (Library or classroom materials) to the bin in front of Needham. The bin will be outside all week between the hours of 8am-3pm. We appreciate you swinging by to return materials.
