Students will be completing screeners in Reading & Math that take approximately 20-30 minutes each. These assessments are adaptive, which means they will adjust to the level of complexity and rigor needed for each student. Following assessments, results will be shared with families. The score report will include information regarding the skills your student has mastered, as well as the skills they are continuing to develop.
Additionally, a brief survey will be given to students to screen for social and academic behaviors. Group and individual results will help our Social Emotional Learning (SEL) team and school counselor, plan for whole class and small group lessons.
As we seek to implement Personalized Competency Based Learning (PCBL), timely assessment and feedback will be an integral part of planning for individual student needs.
If you have any questions, please reach out to your student’s classroom teacher or school administration.
We look forward to our continued partnership throughout the school year!
