Mrs. Kautter

Mrs. Sallie Kautter is the School Counselor at Needham Elementary. She received her BA degree from Ft. Lewis College in Psychology and minored in Business. Mrs. Kautter also studied abroad at Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne, England in International Business. Mrs. Kautter received her MA degree in School Counseling from University of Northern Colorado and has been working as a School Counselor for 12 years. Prior to working as a School Counselor she also worked as a direct care counselor and medical liaison for a residential treatment facility on the front range. Mrs. Kautter is also trained in play therapy and serves on the Colorado School Counseling Association.

Mrs. Kautter lives in Durango with her husband, two boys, one dog and an aggressive gold fish (He might be part shark?!) She enjoys cooking, spending time with her immediate and extended family, hiking, camping and traveling.
